Pengaruh Teknologi Gadget terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VI di SD Bunda Maria Pamanukan

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) aims to analyze the influence of gadgets on the learning interests of sixth-grade students at Bunda Maria Pamanukan Elementary School and to offer appropriate mentoring strategies. The activities were carried out through seminars, training, and discussions involving teachers, students, and parents. The results of the activities showed that excessive gadget use reduces students' concentration and learning motivation. However, when directed wisely, gadgets can function as creative learning media through interactive quizzes, educational applications, and visual media. Teachers gain new skills, parents receive supervision strategies, and students are encouraged to be more disciplined in learning. Thus, this PKM emphasizes the importance of school and family collaboration in directing the use of technology to support academic growth and the formation of Christ-like character.
