Peranan Mezbah Keluarga dalam Menumbuhkan Kesetiaan Anggota di Gereja JKI Higher Than Ever Semarang

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to examine the role of the Family Altar in fostering the faithfulness of the congregation at JKI Higher Than Ever Church in Semarang. The Family Altar is seen as a strategic means of faith development that emphasizes small fellowship, prayer, teaching the Word, and social service. Through intensive seminars and training, this activity has succeeded in increasing the capacity of Family Altar leaders and members in managing community-based services. Evaluation shows an increase in theological understanding, discipleship skills, and commitment to service among the congregation. Despite constraints such as time constraints and heterogeneity of participants, this activity still has a significant positive impact. The results confirm that the Family Altar is a vital instrument for the growth of faith and faithfulness of the congregation to the church.
